Stubnerkogel ski lift. At a length of 2.6 kilometers, the lift is able to carry as many as 2,800 people per hour from Bad Gastein to the main ski area. An escalator at the valley terminal of the lift provides even greater convenience. Heavier gondolas, reconceived lift supports and other technical features take into account the mountain’s exposure to the prevailing winds.
